The Introductory Assignment / Questionnaire
At the beginning of each course you should give your students an Introductory Assignment / Questionnaire. This assignment is just a list of questions that you ask your students to answer. The reason we make this an assignment is to ensure all of the students participate, if it is not a required assignment then participation is minimal. The grading of the assignment should be pass/fail or only a few points should be attached.
The purpose of this assignment is to:
- Get to know your students, why they are taking the course and what they expect to get out of the course
- Adjust your assignments, content, discussions to include their interests
- Motivation
- Lifestyle

- Work
